Want Windows 7?

"Vista" 7Windows 7 will be released tomorrow and only 2.5 million downloads available. I bet you are asking how can I get it and where. Well, it is quite simple really.

  1. You need Vista
  2. Visit Windows 7 Website
  3. Burn the file to a disk
  4. Run

It is as simple as that. Now don’t worry, if you don’t have a dvd burner, you can get programs like Alcohol 120% or Daemon which runs a virtual drive (emulator) and you can just simply mount the .iso file rather than having to burn it to a disk and all that.

The downloads for Windows 7 Beta begins at 12pm January 9th Pacific time. To run Windows 7, you have to have bascially the same requirements that Vista calls for.

  • 16GB disk space
  • 1GHz processor
  • 1GB RAM

It doesn’t really matter if you are late to downloading the iso. Frankly, you can still download it but it will stop working after 30 days since you need the key (which they stop giving out at 2.5m downloads). I suggest, however, that you get there asap so you don’t have to look forward to the key quitting on you. I can’t wait to see how Microsoft did on Windows 7. I really hope they have a good product because if it fails, the  fanbase might begin to lose strength.

Well, you can get a copy but it is all about the keys. If you get a key, you can use it until like August. But if you don’t then you have only 30 days.

Yeah. The server has been swamped ever since the release of the Beta. No real surprise there.

I’m a little hesistant to go after Windows 7, of course I’m hesistant about all new operating systems. Though I hope the security is an improvement.
